Description
Inspired by WAR's hit ballad "Why Can't We Be Friends?" Albino & Preto collaborate with the Long Beach native band celebrating the comradery built on the mats that transcend into lifelong friendships. Known for their hits from the late '60s to '70s (The Cisco Kid, Low Rider, Spill the Wine) the band was arguably one of the most influential groups in the funk movement of sound. Today music from WAR still plays on the radio and streams on iconic playlists on the internet as well as hit motion pictures.
For the brand's collaboration with WAR, Albino & Preto put together a collection featuring a few of the brand's notable iconography throughout a series of graphic t-shirts, a nogi set, and martial arts gi.
