Description
Since the early days of growth of jiu-jitsu in the late 90s and early 2000's some of the iconic uniforms of the time were manufactured in Brazil. After years of development and pushing the limits of manufacturing capabilities in Brazil. We are happy to introduce a classic kimono series to our other family of uniforms that will be offered year around.
The BRAZIL KIMOMO is Made and crafted in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the BRAZIL V1 offers a simplistic, clean aesthetic suitable for both training and competitive wear.
Made up of a lightweight 410 Pearl weave jacket and 10oz twill cotton pant, the BRAZIL V1 provides a minimal option within any rotation.
To accompany both kimonos, a no gi set consisting of both long and short sleeve rash guards and shorts, in a complementary design will be released.
After they shipped from Shoyoroll, numerous people reported that the White colorway had a blueish or purpleish tint under most lighting. Emails to Shoyoroll received replies that this was a known artifact of the dyeing process with their Made in Brazil gis. Shoyoroll offered refunds for unopened White gis, and added the following after-the-fact disclaimer to the product listing on their website:
Disclaimer: Our Made in Brazil gis will have an indigo or pastel tone of white. These are different than our Made in Pakistan gis. The tones will differ under certain lighting.
