The Competitor 21.Red first appeared on the US site on August 6, shortly after the release of Batch #122: Monochrome. It didn't sell very well, and quickly disappeared from the store. It would reappear on the store multiple times over the subsequent weeks.
Strangely, just a couple of months later in October 2021, Shoyoroll released an eerily similar gi in the MOAB Competitor. The embroidery and patchwork featured slightly darker red details and a light grey background color, while the 21.Red has a lighter red color and white background.
Europe and Asia didn't see the Competitor 21.Red for another three months after the US release. It was eventually dropped alongside the Batch #124: Federation V2 "Black Friday" release in late November 2021.
