The Made in USA Lightweight 2.0 V3 is a lightweight pearl weave top along with lightweight canvas pants. This kimono is great for everyday training and is always a good alternative to add into your weekly gi rotation.
Our Premium 2.0 V3 is heavyweight pearl weave top with brushed cotton and standard twill cotton pants. This gi is made with a heavy duty weave, to endure long hours of hard training on the mat and is built to last.
The Classic 2.0 V3 was originally offered as a pre-sale to GUMA members on February 22, 2017, with a public sale scheduled to follow on February 24. During the GUMA pre-sale, the gis were sold for the advertised price above ($250 for lightweight, $300 for premium).
During the pre-sale, Shoyoroll quality control discovered a major cosmetic issue with the gis — the embroidered logos on the arms were not the same size. The "JIU-JITSU" embroidered logo on the right sleeve was noticeably larger than the "KIMONOS" embroidered logo on the left sleeve.
Upon realizing the issue, Shoyoroll initially postponed the public sale and offered GUMA members who had already purchased gis at the advertised price two options:
Option #1: Receive a discount (to $150 for lightweight, $180 for premium) and keep the order as-is (final sale).
Option #2: Cancel the order and receive a full refund.
Soon after, Shoyoroll canceled the public sale and notified GUMA members that the remaining stock would be available exclusively to GUMA members at the discounted prices above.
